Alpaca
Alpacas (Vicunga pacos) are native to South America and do well in areas of high altitude such parts of the Andes, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. Alpacas are classified as a camelid but are too small to be used as a pack animal like their cousin the camel. x

Ankoles
Pictures of ankoles. Ankole-Watusi Cattle are also known as "the cattle of kings", due to their importance in african tribal social status. The Ankoles with the biggest and longest horns belonged to the King and were considered sacred.

Chickens
Oh the good old chicken, the most common domesticated animal in the world. There are more chickens in the world than any other bird, as one might imagine given that most people eat their eggs and meat.

Cows

Domestic Pigs
Domestic pigs (Suidae sus domestica), is a sub-species of the Suidae sus species, which also includes the wild boar. Because of their cultivation by humans, domestic pigs are the most plentiful variety of pig worldwide. Domestic pigs are intelligent and adaptable, and their ability to thrive unattended in wild conditions has led to the existence of populations of feral, or wild pigs in areas where they have either escaped from their owners or been intentionally left to breed wild. 16-th Century European explorers often left small herds of pigs on islands along their routes, knowing that they could rely on the resulting wild population for fresh meat when they returned to the area.

Pictures of the domestic yak (Bos grunniens). With wide hooves and the ability to carry large weights at high elevations, domesticated yaks serve as beasts of burden for people in the Tibetan plateau.

Zebus
Pictures of zebus. Zebus have been domesticated and raised throughout the wolrd. These grazers can live over 20 years and can weigh between 200 and 500 pounds.
