| Pictures of bullfrogs, which inhabit much of the Eastern, Central, and Southern United States. Bullfrogs resemble Green Frogs, but they lack the distinct dorsal ridge. Bullfrogs will eat almost anything that moves and that it can swallow, including small aquatic snakes and small turtles. Conversely, larger snakes will eat bullfrogs. Bullfrogs live near lakes, ponds (such as the one at my home where I found this bullfrog), bogs and slow streams.
