Bongo
I originally called this a striped antelope until this zoologist or something went through and told me what all these animals are. Thanks much. Busch gardens, spring of 2001. Canon Elan IIe, 100-400L IS lens. #13269. 3/10/2001. Resolution: 1866x1251.

Bongo are a large antelope of Africa. They are critically endangered and very shy forest dwellers. They are the only Trgalaphus antelopes (like kudu, eland, etc.) that both males and females have hrons. Beautiful pic of one! (1/23/2006, 12:36 AM)
