Pictures of Hoofed Mammals, Hoofed Mammal Pictures
Pictures of hoofed mammals (known as ungulates), including giraffes, deer, antelopes, elks, moose, buffalo, bison, camels, goats, horses, okapis, rhinos, hippos, elephants, tapirs, zebras, cows, llamas, ankoles, mules, oxen, pigs, sheep, yaks, zebus, alpacas, and hyraxes.
Ungulates are divided into two categories: even-toed ungulates and odd-toed ungulates:
Even-toed ungulates include pigs, hippos, camels, deer, giraffes, antelopes, sheep, goats, and cattle. Even-toed ungulates bear their weight on both their third and forth toes.
Odd-toed ungulates include horses, zebras, donkeys, tapirs, and rhinos. They're browsing and grazing mammals.
