Species: There are 38 species of mice! Some commonly known species are the White-footed mouse, Deer mouse, and the common House mouse.
Lifespan: The lifespan of a wild mouse is about 9-12 months. DOmestic mouse, however, can live as long as 2 years.
Size & Weight: Mice are about 100g and an be 1-3 inches long (not including their tail)
Habitat: Depending on the species, mice in in all different habitats all over the world. Mice usually live in woodlands, grasslands and feilds in a nest. They also inhabit other buildings such as barns, homes, or anywhere else they can find shelter. They usually build nests out of grasses, but will use cloth or other fibers that they find.
Diet: Wild mice will eat almost anyhting they find including grains, grasses, fruit, nuts, etc.
Family Life: Mice live in large nests that consist of a mother and her young.
Mice will nurse abbaies that aren't their own!
Baby mice are called "pups"!
