Pictures of Pygmy Chameleons
Everything : Animals : Reptiles : Pygmy Chameleons
Pictures of pygmy chameleons, Rhamopholen brevicaudatus.

Pygmy chameleons are native to western Africa. Theya re one of the world's smallest chameleons, reaching an adult length of only 3 inches. They are primarily ground dwellers and are colored like leaf litter with brown, tan, gold, and green hues. Like all chameleons, they have long, sticky, extendible tongues which they use to catch small insects. Their eyes move independently, allowing them to look forward and backward at the same time.
