Australian walking stick
Australian walking stick
Species: Extatosoma tiaratum. These insects are native to Australia and are most often found hanging inverted amongst foliage. Males can grow up to 6 inches long and are winged, while females may reach 8 inches long, but don't have wings. They can vary in color from brown to light-greenish-yellow. A female can lay up to 4 eggs per day. The eggs hatch even if they're not fertilized by a male. The parthenogenetic eggs will all be female. Resolution: 3744x5616.
