White Eyed Assassin Bug

White Eyed Assassin Bug
White-Eyed Assassin Bug pictures (Platymeris biguttata), also known as the Two-spotted Assassin bug.

Assassin bugs stalk their prey, bite them with their sharp, straw-like mouthparts, and then drain their insides. The two bright white spots on their back, resembling eyes, startle predators who think they're a much larger animal.
